[POSSIBLE MATCH--Editors Note: After Harold Egbert Morley returned to England to die from a debilitating illness he acquired during his time in Canada, it is presumed that Herbert returned as well. If that is the case, then this data is presented herewith.]

Herbert Alfred Morley married Elizabeth Annie Boozey at West Ham, Essex, England on September 23, 1907. They had two children: Don McAllister Morley born September 28, 1908; and Edna Elizabeth Morley, born May 5, 1915, both in Camberwell, England.

On December 9, 1915, Herbert Alfred Morley (service number 27831) enlisted in the British Army. His papers disclosed that he resided at 111 Crystal Palace Road SE; that he was 35 years of age; that he was a postman; that he had previously served for 12 years in the Rifle Brigade and discharged on August 11, 1906.

Herbert Morley was again sent to the Rifle Brigade, "C" Coy. 2nd Bn. His service record shows that he was the son of William Morley, of 2, Treby St., Bow, and the late Sarah Morley; husband of Elizabeth Annie Morley, of 15, Park Rd., East Ham, London. Also served in India and at Aden.

Herbert Albert Morley was remembered on the Tyne Memorial, Panel 145 to 147.
