Age 15, the Society's Agent advised me that this boy had left Mr Fitzpatricks was working in Carrett's Fertilizer Works, Red Hand.
I called at this concern today and ascertained from the foreman that such a boy had worked there, but left some time during the past
winter, and he could not tell me where he went to, but thought he had returned to Fitzpatricks. I made enquiries there and found that Fitzpatrick had left the farm. I then enquired of the Agent but he could give me no information concerning the boy, as he supposed he was still working at Carretts Fertilizer. I saw another English boy living on a farm some miles away, who knew Nealy but he was unable to furnish me with any information. This boy appears to have been shifting for himself since he left his first situation
