Attestation papers were signed 17 Sep 1915 in Brockville, Ontario. Walter William Noble was born 13 Oct 1890 in Middleborough, Yorkshire, England. He was a Locomotive Fireman by trade. His Next of Kin was Miss Sarah Noble c/o Mr. Robert Barnaby of St. Chad's Cottage Far Headingley, Leed, Yorkshire, England. 5'6" in height with brown eyes and light brown hair, he had tattoo spots at the base of each thumb, and a brown birth mark on his back between his shoulder blades.
