Age 11, well placed, employed at light chores, good health, attends Methodist Church and Public School, well behaved, Terms-
Boarded. He is very happy and contented and has a very comfortable home. Mrs Tinegate is an elderly widowed lady and appears to be very much interested in her charge.

1911 Canadian Census records likely for William Noddle places him as a Domestic in the household of Harriet and William Knapp in Darlington, Durham, Ontario. William states he was born in Jun of 1889 and immigrated from England in 1896.

On 25 Sep 1914 in Valcartier, Quebec, William's brother Mark lists him as his Next of Kin on his attestation papers. William is said to live in Janeville, Ontario. William and his sister, Alvina were notified of Mark's death when he was Killed in Action on 19 Jun 1915.
