Attestation papers were signed 6 Jan 1916 in port Elgin, Ontario. Joseph Nunn was born 4 Jan 1897 in London, Enland. He was a Baker's Assistant by trade. His Next of Kin was Mrs. Champion of Upyme, Devon, England but that was crossed out with Friend, William D. McWalters of Listowel, Ontario written in. 5'6" in hieght with brown eyes and black hair. His religion was listed as Church of England.

Commonwealth War Graves Registers and Circumstances of Casualty states he was Killed in Action in an attack north west of Raillencourt, Nord Pas de Calais, France. Next of Kin was Mrs. E.
