NotesIn May, 1907, Louise Owen was privately adopted (at 4 months of age) by Mrs. Mansfield, who resided at 84 Harboro Rd, Kingsthorpe, near Northampton, England. (Mother was Louisa Owens.)

In 1922, Louise Eileen Owen, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 22 Barnardo girls en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

On August 6, 1927, a marriage was registered in Ontario, Canada, between Louise E. Owen and McCall Thompson (born February 26, 1906, in Glasgow, Scotland. He immigrated with his parents Thomas Thompson and Agnes Shankland McNaught in 1920 on the ship Cassandra.)

McCall and Louise Eileen Owen Thompson had at least two children: Earl F. Thompson, born October 26, 1932, Toronto, Ontario, Canada (died 2005); and Thomas Thompson.

McCall Thompson died August 27, 1988, in North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Louise Eileen Owen Thompson died November 7, 1988, in North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
