Harriet acted as a witness at her sister Emmeline's marriage to Herbert Davis in 1921.

Her sister Emmeline died of TB in 1924 and on January 9 1928 the marriage was announced in the St Thomas Times Journal of:

'Herbert Davis, son of John Davis of Fairview to Harriet Georgina Pegg, daughter of George Pegg of Bayham, Dec 29'

(it appears that Herbert Davis married both sisters)
