1891 English Census records place Anne L Chadwick (22) as a Boarder in the household of Susannah and David Davies, along with her 3 month old son, James Chadwick in Whittington, Shropshire, England. Anne states that she was born in Sandy Lane, Staffordshire, England.

Oct-Dec Quarter of 1891 England & Wales, FreeBMD Marriage Index 1837-1915 states that Annie Louisa Chadwick married George Pemberton in Oswestry, Shropshire.

1901 English Census records place widowed Annie L Pemberton and her sons in West Derby, Lancashire, England. In residence were James Pemberton (10), Joseph D S Pemberton (8), Frederick Pemberton (12, this age is incorrect and should be closer to 7), William E Pemberton (4), and George Pemberton (5 months). Also in residence was Sarah Jones (68) listed as a Boarder. Annie worked as a Charwoman.

In 1902 at Edge Hill, St. Dunstan Annie Louisa Pemberton remarried to Henry Gibson Jones.

1911 Canadian Census records for the Pemberton brothers James (20, Dec 1880), Fred (16, Aug 1894) and William (14, Oct 1896) place them in the household of Annie and Andrew Graham in Simcoe, Ontario. The boys are all listed as Adopted Sons.

1921 Canadian Census records for William Pemberton place him in Battle River, Alberta as the head of his own household. Born in England in 1897 he works as a farm labourer. He has a Lodgers, young John McKay, 14 years of age born in Alberta in 1907. William states he came from England in 1906.
