(Parents: Henry Pennicard and Naomi Ruth Heather, married 1897, Hambledon, Surrey, England.)On the 1911 Census for England Percy is found living with his parents Henry and Naomi and his siblings Violet Heather, Alfred, Harry, Lilian and Alfonso.

In 1912, Percy Pennicard, 7 (along with his brother, Alfred Pennicard, 12) arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of 181 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On 20 Dec 1926, 22 year old Percy returned to England. He settled in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England and married Emily Plumb there in 1930. They would have a daughter, Palmetto.
