Notes Sent by Bakewell Union, placed with George E Edworthy, farmer, Orkney, Beverly Twp, Wentworth, Ontario
October 11 1902
Age 14, good home, employed at farm chores, good health, attends Methodist Church, character-good
Terms-$100 at the end of six years and schooling. Platts seems to be thriving well here not withstanding the fact that he finds the work at times rather much. He has never complained to his employer. I think that he does his full share, He requires a new outfit of clothing and I am assured by Mr Edworthy that he will attend to the matter at once. Platts is well behaved and gives good satisfaction.
