with Gabriel Joseph Warren, farmer, P.O Evandale, Kings, NB
about 11 years of age, excellent home, employed at farm work, health good, attends Church of England, attends school when the roads are good, character-he is obedient and fairly truthful. Terms-Board, Lodging and Clothes. Mr Warren states up to this winter Pratt gave him very good satisfaction. His principal complaint against him is that he has been rough with the cattle. Mr Warren, however, thinks he will improve, and he is anxious to give him another chance. He would not like to part with him. The lad is contented, and told me that he would not like to return to the Old Country
