NotesIn 1884, Martin Quinn, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 104 children from the Catholic Children's Protective Society, accompanied by Mrs. Lacy and en route to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Martin Quinn, aged 12, from parish of Liverpool, placed with Edward McGurn, Read P.O., lot 25, 6 Con, Tyendinaga Tp. Diseased in throat, stubborn at times, but generally giving satisfaction; good home, well cared for, at school during winter, 2nd reader."

Martin Quinn, 15, farm labourer, died at Hastings, Ontario, Canada, of consumption, duration 6 weeks, on March 3, 1893.
