CANADIAN BRIEFS

A Home boy, about fifteen years of age, who worked for Mr. Samuel Turner, about two miles north of Newcastle, Ont., while harrowing in the field, was struck by lightning and killed. The team he was driving was also killed.

Edward Nicholas Quick, 14, was killed instantly by lightning on May 2, 1906, at Lot 28, Con 3, Clarke, Durham, Ontario, Canada.
