with Daniel Shanehan, farmer, P.O Munster, Carleton, Ontario
November 16 1900
Age 15, very comfortable farm home, employed at farm chores, health good but near sighted, attends Roman Catholic church every other sunday not school; was in 5th Standard in England. Character-honest and obedient. Terms-$1.50 per month for clothing. Radley is a willing lad, quite stout in appearance and, I shoud judge, has a comfortable home. He had nothing to complain of, and appears to be quite contented. He was a warmly clad. He states that his employer gives him pocket money. Mr Shanehan is satisfied with him.
