Notes [POSSIBLE MATCH] A birth registration was found for Elizabeth Westland Marshall Ramsay: Date: March 13, 1899 at 3:30 a.m.; Place: Townhead, Kintore, Aberdeen, Scotland; Parents: Alexande Ramsay, quarryworker and Williamina Robertson, married January 9, 1886, in Kintore, Aberdeen.
In 1913, Elizabeth Ramsay, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 89 Quarrier children accompanied by D. J. Findley and en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.(This information for age does not agree with the census of Aberdeen in 1901 which states Elizabeth was born 1892.)

The inscription on reverse written by Lizzie says:
"Lizzie and baby Catherine, 8 months old"
Family stories allude to Lizzie being pregnant and her parents, being unable to take care of her, arranged for the Salvation Army in Aberdeen, Scotland, to handle the transfer.
