In May 1910, Alice Horton, 32, and Hazel, 9, entered America via Buffalo, their contact in America was husband/father George Horton, Fenwick, Ontario, Canada, they were also accompanied by her husbands cousin Grace Slough, 28, they were travelling to Buffalo to visit a friend John Hedges, 50 Grant? St, Buffalo. Grace stated she intended to go visit her sister Jessie Moore, Frederica St, Tos?????

On 7 November 1914, Alice Horton, 36, carpet maker, born White Walton, Essex, accompanied by daughter Hazel, entered America via Detroit. She last lived in Niagara Falls. Her next of kin-Sister-Mary Johnson, Ridgeway, Ontario, she intended to visit her brother John Slough, Lapeer, Michigan



In 1911, Alice Horton, 33, widow, along with daughter Hazel, 10, was residing in Pelham, Welland, Ontario, she had taken in a lodger called Grace Slough, 28, as well
