Roe, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 15 young men from the Salvation Army, 3 Upper Thames Street, London, England EC4 en route to Salvation Army, 480, Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He stated on landing that he had been a band-sawyer in England and would be pursuing farming; and that his contact in England was stepfather, Mr. S. Wallis, who resided at 9, Water Eaton, Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, England.
