In 1894, Reuben Rogerson, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 38 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, and accompanied by Miss Soffe.

On December 23, 1908, at Brantford, Brant, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Gordon R. Rogerson, 23, moulder, born to Horatio Rogerson; and Mary Ann Force, 19, born to Stephen Force and Hannah Bleu[?] Kensop.

The couple had at least two children: Gordon Frederick Rogerson, born August 9, 1909, in Brant, Ontario, Canada; and Ethel Evelyn Rogerson, born June 4, 1911, in Middlesex, Ontario, Canada.
