NotesOn 12 April 1899, Philip Edwin Salthouse (born March 26th 1899) was baptised at Saint John the Evangelist, Lambeth, son of Walter and Kathleen Marian Salthouse, of 7 Exton St, occupation-Farrier,

He had two siblings Charles Douglas and Kathleen Elizabeth, twins both baptised on November 30 1900,

In 1901, Walter and Kathleen Salthouse were residing Lambeth, with their other children Walter aged 5, and 4 month old twins Charles and Kathleen.

In 1901, Philip Salthouse, 2, visitor, in home of Henry and Emma Milsom in West Ham, Essex

On 7 April 1902, Philip Salthouse, born March 26 1899, entered St John and All Saints School, Lambeth, fathers name given as Walter, address 101 Cornwall Road. He left the school on 25 May 1906 'Gone to Norwood Workhouse'

his brother Walter had entered the same school on April 2 1900 until 22 July 1903 when he went to the boys school.

On March 20 1905, Charles Douglas, 4, and Kathleen Elizabeth, 4, started at the same school, at some point they left 'Gone to Canada'

(In 1911, Charles Douglas, 10, is recorded as boarding with a family in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, along with 4 other children
