NotesIn 1884, Patrick Shannon, 12, arrived at Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, in a group of 13 children from the Colonization Fund, London, England, accompanied by J. F. Boyd and en route to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

"Sixteenth Annual Report of the Local Government Board, 1886-87; Copy of Reports of Inspection of Children sent out to Canada, as of February 12, 1887.

Report of Mr. J. J. Daley, Government Immigration Agent at Montreal, P.Q.

Patrick Shannon, aged 12, from Middlesbrough Union, placed with Leon Rochou, St. Eustache, P.Q. Presently resides with Mr. Renaud, of St. Benvit, who is much pleased with the boy."

Patrick Shannon died in 1950 in Quebec, Canada.
