NotesStanley was placed at Northcote Children's Farm School at Glenmore, near Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. Built in 1937, it was the only institution in Victoria to have been constructed specifically for child migrants.

He travelled with a party of 15 boys and 14 girls who went to Australia under the Fairbridge Farm scheme by the liner Strathnaver. 11 of them disembarked at Fremantle to go to the farm school at Pinjarra, with the remainder travelling on to Melbourne and Sydney (Source: NLA Trove Newspaper).
