In 1887, Agnes Stangroom, 4, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 18 girls from Miss Alexander's party from Sutton, Surrey, England, accompanied by Mrs. Rose Wallace, matron, and en route to Miss Alexander's home at 51 Northcote Ave., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. (The girls were from Charlotte A. Alexander's Girl's Training Home at The Red Cottage, Great Warley, Brentwood, England.)
