Notes Sent by Middlesbrough Union, placed with Archibald McIntyre, farmer, Rutherford, Dawn Twp, Lambton, Ontario
October 27 1902
Age 14, home primitive but comfortable, employed at general farm work, a strong, muscular, growing boy, attends Presbytarian Church, will attend more regularly in the future, good character, terms-$75 on 1st April 1905 and one years schooling. Stork appears to be progressing well and is quite contented now. He is a splendid type of boy, and quite equal to doing a good days work.
Mr McIntyre is on a new farm in a district only recently opened up, and consequently, Stork will learn something of Canadian pioneer farm life and work.
