March 9 1903, was with Alfred Wilson, farmer, Emerson, Manitoba

Age 12, I did not see this boy as I got word that at Emerson that he had returned to Winnipeg where I ascertained by inquiry at the Barnardo Home that he had been sent to the Winnipeg General Hospital for an operation for appendicitis. Mr Davis, Agent for the Home in Winnipeg states that when he leaves some light employment will be secured for him.
