NotesOn April 14 1930, William Symons, 14, arrived in Canada on board SS Montcalm, he gave his birthplace as Devonport. His passage was paid by the B.I.CA. His occupation in England was School but he intended to take up Farming in Canada. He was destined for the B.I.CA, 87 Osborne St, Montreal. His next of kin was his father John Symons, 6 St John St, Devonport.

On November 4 1932, William Thomas Symons, 17, returned to England, heading to 63 Pembroke St, Plymouth.
