1911 Canadian Census records for William Tijon place him in the household of Emily and Fred Goss of Medonte, Simcoe County, Ontario. William was born in England on Sep 1896 (Recorded as being 15 and born in 1906, as well as having an immigration of 1906 - Transcriber's error). He is listed as 'B. H. Boy', most likely as 'Barnardo Home Boy'. Also in residence is Fred Billemore, also

listed as B.H.Boy.

Attestation papers were signed 26 Jan 1916 in Orillia, Ontario. William Tijon was born 2 Sep 1895 in Southwark, London, England. His Next of Kin was his Mother, Mrs. John Tijon of Blackfriars Road, London, England. His occupation is a labourer in Warminster, Ontario. 5'5" in height with blue eyes and fair hair.
