Age 13, character of home; could hardly one more suitable, very little work, draws milk to the factory, and helps Mrs McFadden in the house, very healthy, attends Church of England, home tuition, terms-Board and Clothing. This lad has been well placed. His employer takes a great interest in him, and considers that he is "as fine a lad as one could wish for"

Age 14, some time in early autumn last year this boy's married sister who resides in the United States, made the request that her brother Ernest be given over to her charge. Shortly after she called at Mr McFadden's and took him to her home in the state of Vermont, US. This boy had an excellent situation and was doing very well
