He was described as 5 foot 4-1/4 inches in height; dark complexion; grey eyes; dark brown hair. He was a member of the Methodist faith.
On March 1, 1923, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between George Edward Ernest Trigg, 34, labourer, born in England to George Edward Trigg and Elizabeth Cox; and Emma Sanderson, 29, domestic, born in Ontario, to Tawes Sanderson and Jane Rhodes.
