Notes Sent by Edmonton Union
with Thomas Seabrooke, farmer, P.O Richmond, Carleton, Ontario
November 16 1900
Age 13, a very comfortable farm home, employed at house work, no outside work, enjoys good health, attends Church of England and Public School during winter months. Character good. Terms-Board and Clothing until 14 years of age and schooling, then a new agreement. Mr Seabrooke appears to be a very comfortable farmer, judging by his surroundings. Both he and his wife spoke kindly of the girl and appear to be very fond of her. Bertha Tyson was neatly dressed, and had every appearance of being well cared for. She is contented here; is not overworked, and had no complaints to make.
