Group of Children Traveling Together

-----------------------------------------------------------

Rosina married Alfred William Clarke, also a BHC and joined him on the homestead North of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. She worked very hard, many times alone with the children while he worked away on farms and ranches as a blacksmith. She managed to feed and clothe her children through the terrible 30's. She was known in the area for her good cooking, skilful dancing and her love of children - she found every child precious. They were able to expand their farm and Alfred was building a new home near a little lake when she found she had cancer. She underwent various medical treatments for several years, but succumbed to the disease at age 42 leaving 5 small children at home. Four older ones had already gone to find work in other areas.
