On December 7, 1915, William Warrington enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that his current residence was Cooktown, Ontario, Canada; that he was born in London, Middlesex, England; that his next of kin was Mrs. Vivian Beatty, a friend, who resided in Cookstown, Ontario, Canada; that his date of birth was August 4, 1895; that he was a farmer; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 4 inches in height; fair complexion; blue eyes; fair hair. He was a member of the Church of England. He had a distinguishing mark of a small birthmark on his left eyelid.


Descendant Notes: William (Bill) was send to a family in Cookstown Ontario and stayed there until enlisting in the Canadian Army serving in WW1. William married Betty Reeves and had 3 daughters and 1 son.
