In 1903, August Frances Weeden remarried in Brentford, Middlesex, England (either to Albert James Evans or George James Prior).

In 1912, Edward Weedon, 14, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 21 boys from Church of England Waifs and Strays en route to Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.

On November 23, 1915, Edward Weedon, 18, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he resided at Eaton, Quebec, Canada; that he was born in London, England; that his next of kin was Joseph Adams of Eaton, Quebec, Canada, with whom he had no relation; that he was born March 15, 1897; that he was not married; and that he was a farmer. He was described as 5 foot 2-1/2 inches in height; fair complexion; blue eyes; dark brown hair. He was a member of the Church of England.
