NotesRose was the daughter of Samuel Harris Widdicks and Annie Deniord. She was baptized on 21 Oct 1892 at St Mark's, Tower Hamlets, London. She was baptized Rosetta Alice Widdicks.

In late 1900, a neighbor, took Rose and her siblings to the Whitechapel board of guardians after their father failed to return from work. The poor law register stated 'mother deceased, father deserted'. This is where the slight variation in Rose's name occurred as the neighbor could only give them what little information she knew about the children.

Rose married Thomas Hiram Graham in Peterborough, Ontario, on 1 Nov 1907. The marriage certificate shows her age as 19 when in fact she was 15. They moved to Cook County, Illinois in 1908. I'm not certain how many children they had, below are the details of two daughters who both died during childhood within 8 weeks of each other!

Mearail Graham born 6 Feb 1910 Cook County, Illinois. Died 6 Oct 1916, due to organic heart disease, in Cook County, Illinois. Address at time of death 416 N Sacramento. Buried at Mt Auburn on 8 Oct 1916.

Grace Emma Violet Graham born 3 June 1913, Cook County, Illinois. Died 17 July 1916, due to shock and injuries due to being hit by a car. Buried at Mt Auburn, Cook County, Illinois on 19 July 1916.
