Notesa Walter Winship married Mary Jane Anderson in Sep Qtr of 1885 in Newcastle upon Tyne

In 1901, Walter Winship, 40, Machine Driller Boiler Shop wife Mary J, 36, and children Annie, 11, Elizabeth, 9, Florence, 3 and Thomas, 1, were residing at 3 Angle Terrace, Willington, Northumberland

On 10 June 1916, Florence Winship, 18, tried to enter America via Detroit, her contact in Canada was her sister Edith Winship. Millbrook, Ontario, she was going to join her friend Arthur Falkiner, 121 Harper Ave, she gave her birth place as Newcastle

She was refused entry - Alien states that she is 3 months pregnant but refuses to be examined physically. Alien also states that she has been taking medication to produce an abortion. In my opinion there is some superiative condition present, Debarred - Appeal taken, Cause - Criminal (Fornication)

On 13 June 1916, Florence Winship, 19, Domestic, born England, daughter of Walter Winship and Mary Anderson, married Arthur Falkiner in Windsor, Essex, Ontario,
