NotesMay Woodroffe arrived aged 11 on SS Carthaginian with Middlemore Homes.

In 1911 she is recorded as 'daughter' aged 11, to Melford and Netta Noble in Brighton, Carleton, NB.

9 July 1918, May Woodroffe, aged 18 crossed over into America. She declared that she was born in Birmingham and had previously resided in Lower Brighton, New Brunswick. Her arrival contact was her Adopted Father-Milford Noble and her departure contact was given as Sister-Mrs Thos Evans, Birmingham, Eng. She declared she had previously resided in the USA from 1915-1918.

In 1920 she appears aged 20 in Houlton, Aroostook, Maine with her widowed adopted father Milford Noble. She is described as a boarder and her occupation is housemaid in private residence.

In 1930 she appears aged 29 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut again with Milford Noble and his new wife and their children. This time recorded as 'adopted' and her occupation is 'Insurance Clerk'
