NotesThe following records have been discerned for Lance Corporal Thomas William Wright.

The Canadian Virtual War Memorial states he is the son of Julia Le Noury and of J. A. Wright (John Albert) of Mount Durand, Guernsey.

1891 English Census for Thomas Wright as a resident in school at District East End Juvenille Mission, Leopold House and Leopold Hall in St Pauls Bow Common, Mile End Old Town, London, England. He's 10 years of age, born in 1881 on Guernsey Isle.

Thomas Wright came from Liverpool, England to Quebec, Canada in 1891 aboard the Parisian with MacPhearson Homes. He was 10 years of age.

Thomas married Harriet Wisby on 10 Feb 1905 in York County, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Harriet Knight and David Samuel Wisby. The couple had three children, Herbert, Ellis John and Florence who died at birth.

1911 Canadian Census lists Thomas Wright (Born Apr 1881 in England) with wife Hattie, sons Herbert and Ellis John (Spelled Evils by Census Taker) in Lambton, Ontario, Canada.

Harriet and infant daughter Florence Ada die on 28 Feb 1912, the immediate cause of death was Phthisis (Which was Tuberculosis).

Thomas married Margaret Wisby Kershaw on 5 Mar 1914 in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. Margaret was also a daughter of Harriet Knight and David Samuel Wisby, she was widow of Charles Kershaw. The couple had three children together, Clifford, Edith and James.

Attestation papers were signed 18 Feb 1916 in Sarnia, Ontario. Thomas William Wright was born 15 Apr 1881 on Guernsey Isle, England. His address was 128 Penrose Street, Sarnia, Ontario. His Next of Kin was his wife, Margaret Wisby Kershaw Wright. Trade was listed as Grocer. 5'2" in height with blue eyes and brown hair. Religion was listed as Church of England.

Canada C.E.F. Commonwealth War Graves Registers claim he died at No. 56 Casualty Clearing Station of Influenza and Broncho-Pneumonia. Death due to Service. He is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France.
