1901 English Census for Geffrey W. V. Yonge in Hampshire, England listed as a Boarder in the household of Harriet and Edmund Davys. His brother Charles (Later Private Charles Douglas Hamlyn Yonge, WWI Casualty) is also in residence.

Geoffrey Yonge arrived aboard the Parisian in 1903 with his brother Charles. He apparently heads west while Charles stays in Ontario, Canada.

His Father's name was most likely Walter Skrimshire Vernon Yonge, but conclusive evidence was not found beyond Charles' Next of Kin listings which provided only initials.

1916 Canadian Census for Geoffrey Vernon Young lists him as born in England in 1886, immigrated in 1903. Married to Lola Elizina and the couple having one son, Vernon Walter. Two lodgers are in residence - Sara Isabell Muma and Janet Ward.
