NotesAccording to his UK Naturalisation Record he was widowed in 1901, which is confirmed on the 1901 UK Census.

Christoph emigrated to the USA in 1901, becoming a citizen in 1906 (Source: 1910, 1920 USA Census). From 1905-1918 he is listed in the Fort Worth City Directory as at first a Teutonic Beer Hall, then saloon owner. In the 1920 city directory it says soft drinks (sales?). In the 1924 Dallas City Directory he is associated with an Anna LAUN (born abt 1882) that has 2 children Katie (1909) and Anne Mae (1911). After Christoph's death in 1926, later Dallas City Directories show Anna LAUN as widowed, but sometimes the husband's name is Ulrich, sometimes it is Christoph. The 1910 USA Census indicates he is widowed, and the 1920 Census as single. However Christoph's Texas death Certificate indicates he is married, and Annie Laun is the witness.
