Paul changed his last name to Wilson in response to anti-German sentiments post-WWI. He and his brothers Karl and Adolf formed Wilson Brothers Limited and had numerous shops throughout London. In 1935 they had 14 shops (Source: limehouse79 and Family Records).
Paul was beneficiary of David Gottwein's Will I'd 2129, and inherited his shop at 85 Leather Lane, London.

1911 Census - Pauline KRESS aged 24 and Christine KRESS aged 19 assisting.
