NotesMarriage to ID 52 Christiane BAYER, probably in Germany. Son ID 165 Charles Frederick EGNER. Family not found in the 1871 Census so may have returned to Germany for some years but back for the 1881 Census.
1861 Census - Georg BEIR 17, Helena BEIR 14, maybe Georg and Helena connected to Christiane with incorrect surname spelling, Thomas SCHULY 20 assisting.
1881 Census - Louis HOFFMAN 20 and Mary KAPPLER 25 assisting. Mary (Margaretha Barbara KAPPLER) b 15 Nov 1856 d 23 Nov 1937 married baker William QUICK in 1883, her parents were Georg Martin KAPPLER and Magdalena Carolina Rosina Barbara ZÜRN, sister Karolina KAPPLER lived with Mary and her family for some years at their baker shop in Park Road, Toxteth Park.
1891 Census - Lena HORNUNG 23 assisting.
1901 Census - Annie KIMMICH assisting.
Both Frederick and Christiane buried at Anfield Cemetery, Non-Conformist Section.
Probate granted to son Charles. Mention made of eleven houses left to wife Christiane who was buried 25 February 1904, Frederick's home address at time of death 'Hohenlohe', Oakhill Park.
