NotesFather could be Georg STRÖHLEIN with Kate born before Georg's marriage to mother Marie MÜLLER.
1901 Census living with parents Georg STRÖHLEIN, a sugar refiner with Tate & Lyle and Marie MÜLLER. Kate is the illegitimate daughter of Marie Muller born before Marie's marriage to Georg and also known as Kate MÜLLER. In 1901 with maybe half siblings Johann Georg 8, Frederick 6, Charles 5, Willie 3, Albert 2 and Maria 1. Also Henry STEIN 40 a lodger and dock labourer from Germany.
Confirmed 27 March 1904. Katharine is noted as living at 32 Heriot Street, Kirkdale.
1911 Census - assisting ID 690 Ernest RUTSCH.
Kate repatriated to Germany in WW1 even though she had spent most of her life in England.
Half siblings - Johann Georg b 31 Oct 1892, church record shows witnesses Christian FOLPP (VOLPP?) and Caroline SPERR of 45 Heriot Street.
Frederick b 6 Apr 1894 at 25 Hawkins Street, witnesses were Friedrich RIEGER, Caroline SPERR and Marie SPERR 5 Lamb Street (in Wigan?)
Another brother Eduard of 32 Heriot Street died on 19 July 1904 aged 6 months from seizures and buried at Longmoor Lane cemetery, Section: Public, grave 727.
