Notes Known as Lena. Her father was a citizen and smallholder from Künsbach (1820-1902) and mother Anna b 1823 Döttingen d 1906 Künsbach. Lena was the mother of ID 28623 Emma STEINLE born in Barrow in Furness, an illegitimate birth. In 1881 Lena was working for baker John G VOHMAN in Deptford. She married sugar baker Claus Heinrich DOHRMANN 25 December 1883 at St George's German Church, Whitechapel. Claus died in 1891 and Lena remarried to tailor Ferdinand SIEGERT at St George's church again on 24 September 1893. She is noted in the church records as a divorcee. Ferdinand died 1909 and on the 1911 census Lena is living with daughter Emma and her husband ID 721 Ludwig SCHMIDT at Chatsworth Road.
