His Next of Kin was his Sister, Edith Rose Monk of York House, Royal Parade, Eastbourne, Sussex, England. 5' 2 1/2" in height with grey eyes and fair hair, he had scars on his left forearm and a scar across the ball of his thumb. Commonwealth War Graves Registers and Circumstances of Casualty state that he was Killed in Action south of Ypes, West Flanders, Belgium. His Next of Kin was first Mrs. E. R.
