In 1890, Mark Corless, 9 (along with his brother Denis Corless, 12) arrived in Quebec, Canada, having sailed via Londonderry 18 Apr 1890, with a group of 77 children accompanied by 3 Matrons (Sisters Fidelis, Humiliana and 1 unnamed) en route to Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

On February 7, 1890, Mark Corlis arrived on the SS Kansas in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He had traveled from Liverpool, England, which he stated was his last place of residence. He stated that his final destination was 107 Craig Street, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
