NotesJeremiah (Jerry) O?callaghan.
He was born in west Derby, Liverpool on 30th October 1886, their mother died in 1899/1900 and I understand he was shipped under the guardianship of Liverpool Catholic Children?s Protection Society to Quebec on SS PARISIAN on 31-05-1900, arriving Quebec 09-06-1900.
He was then transferred to Miss Brennans Home, 11 Thomas Street, Montreal.
I have been advised by an Aunt that my Grandmother corresponded with him while he was indentured to a farmer in Canada and he replied on a regular basis, however, when he stopped replying to her letters she became concerned that something may have happened to him.
She spent the rest of her life trying to find him through various agencies to no avail.
