NotesParents: Matthew Mooney and Ann Farrell, probably married 1862 in Runcorn, Cheshire, England.

In 1883, Bridget Mooney, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 26 Catholic children from Prescot Union Board of Guardians and en route to Father Whelan at St. Patrick Orphanage, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Bridget Mooney, from Prescot Union, placed with Rev. Marion, Douglas P.O., Co. Renfrew. Left Mrs. Gorman, who 6tates that she would not keep her among her children; but Rev. Mr. Marion informed me that she was a fairly good girl, and intends placing her out shortly."
