A marriage was recorded between Rose O Pratt and John W Stafford in Eton, England in the Sept Quarter of 1918.
On 1 October 1918, John W Stafford was killed in action in France. His next of kin was named as his wife, Rose O Stafford, Love Green, Iver, Buckinghamshire. He is buried in Canada Cemetery, Tilloy-les-Cambrai. Plot: I. C. 14.
It appears that his wife never remarried and died aged 95 in Bedford in January 1992.
