Attestation papers were signed on 14 March 1916 in Forest, Ontario. Charles Alfred Rix was born 17 October 1897 Norwich, Norfolk, England. He gave his Next of Kin as his sister, Mrs Charles Cruzen, 68 Potter Field, Unthank Road, Norwich. He was a farmer residing in Forest, Ontario. 5'3" in height with hazel eyes and black hair.
