In 1906, Edward Addyman, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 101 Fegan boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
On November 9, 1914, at Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Edward Addyman, 21, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he was born June 24, 1894, in Plumstead, England; that his next of kin was W Addyman, MC Railway, Windsor, Ontario; that he was a Groom; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 5 inches in height; dark complexion; grey eyes; black hair. He was a member of the Church of England. He had a mole on the left side of his chest; and a whitish scar over his right buttocks.
On July 1, 1928, Edward Addyman, inspector, entered the United States through the Port of Detroit, Michigan, on the Walkerville Ferry. He declared that he was born in Plumstead, England; that his last permanent residence was in New Castle, Ontario; that he had been in the United States since 1919; that he was going to Dodge Bros. at 6635 East Warrent; that he intended to remain the United States permanently; and that his contact in Canada was Mr. Chandler in New Castle, Ontario.
