On 23 March 1895, Albert Edward Worles (born March 17) baptised at Saint John, Horselyydown, son of Emily Eliza Worles, residence 24 Banyard Road, 'Single Woman'

On September 6 1895, Albert E Worles, 6 months, admitted to St Olave Workhouse, from 156 B Barnham Bldgs, deserted by mother, next of kin - Mother Emily, 'deserted'. On September 21 1895 he was handed back into his mothers care.

(Possible) On 11 October 1896, Emily Eliza Worles, 22, married William George James Beckensall in All Saints, Walworth

In 1901, Emily Beckensall, 26, and husband William, were residing with their two young sons William, 3, and George, 1, in St Peter, London, (a further two children were born to this couple Edward in 1902 and Albert in 1906)

In 1911, Albert Worlds, 16, servant to Frederick and Catherine Sanderson in Oxford, Grenville, Ont.

On September 23 1914, Albert Edward Worles b March 17 1895 London, enlisted in the Canadian Army. He was a section man. He declared his next of kin as F J Sanderson, Oxford Mills, Ont.

On 22 April 1915, Albert Edward Worles aged 22, killed in action in Belgium. He was the foster son of Catherine Sanderson, Kemptville, Ont. Native of London, Eng. He is remembered on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
